How to pair the remote with your Fire TV Device?
1)Turn on your TV
2) Unplug your fire TV device from the power cable, and restart it back in .
3) Once the home screen for fire tv appears, press and hold the Home Button on the new remote for 10-15 seconds .
4) The indicator LED will slowly flash amber for 10seconds , then flash fasrer when your remote is ready to connect .
Note:
1) If fail in the pairing, please repeat steps #2-4 again
By the way,please confirm your remote whether connected more then 6 limits,navigate to Settings at the top of the screen,then select:Controllers & Bluetooth Devices>Amazon Fire TV Remotes,delete old remote is OK.
2) After pairing, if the power or volume button does not work, you may need to set.
The set steps:
1. Go to settings
2. Select “Equipment Control”
3. Select “Manage Equipment”
4. Select “TV”
5. Select “change TV”, please wait it will take some time, it’s detecting the brand of the TV, select your corresponding TV brand
6. Then follow the prompts on the screen, the volume button will work.
