The DFRduino Ethernet W5100S expansion board enables your Arduino controller to connect to the Internet through an RJ45 cable. Plug the expansion board into the Arduino controller, and use the Ethernet library example in the Arduino IDE to easily build a communication stable Internet of Things project.
The DFRduino Ethernet W5100S expansion board is equipped with a WizNet W5100S network interface chip and internally integrates a full hardware TCP/IP protocol stack. At the same time, the W5100S also has four independent hardware SOCKETS.
Arduino communicates with the W5100S and SD card through an SPI interface (using an ICSP head). This expansion board is not only usable by UNO, but also compatible with the Arduino Mega series.
